About the Company: Our client are an established and reputable business who work within the manufacturing space within multiple sectors. They have an office located in Perth and are seeking an Mechanical Design Engineer due to company growth. About the role: We are seeking an Mechanical Design Engineer to work full time from their Perth office. Lead the concept design and development phases of mechanical products and systems, utilising advanced CAD and CAE software.Conduct research and generate innovative product ideas and design solutions, pushing the boundaries of mechanical engineering.Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess product safety, performance, and durability, documenting all results thoroughly.Source and procure materials and components for prototypes and support the fabrication and installation process.Test, evaluate, and validate the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical systems.Skills & Experience:Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical design engineering.Solid understanding of thermodynamics, materials science, and mechanical principles.Proficient in CAD/CAE software; experience with CFD and FEA involving composite materials is desirable but not essential.Full Australian working rights Benefits: Training & development from industry experts Exposure to new and innovative projects Permanent, full time role If you are interested in the role, please click apply today or email a copy of your latest resume to katie-marie@prprojects.com.au
