The decentralized R&D organization benefits both production and marketing and allows Hamilton to stay close to the local markets and respond quickly to market needs.As a Mechanical Engineer III, you will play a key role in driving innovation and delivering high-quality solutions across two critical areas new product development and large-scale life-sciences automation projects. This position requires a seasoned engineer with deep expertise in mechanical design, analysis, and manufacturing processes, combined with the ability to lead complex engineering initiatives from concept through implementation.Capable of handling multiple tasks, setting priorities and meeting schedules.Demonstrated capability to perform engineering analysis and familiarity with commonly used analysis tools (e.g. FEA, DFX, etc).Good understanding in tolerance analysis and GD&T.Capable of designing/ debugging complex electro-mechanical products.Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD is a must; experience in SolidWorks PDM is a plusMust have a strong work ethic and good written and verbal communication skills.A self-starter and must be able to work independently with minimum supervision or direction.Ability to communicate effectively in English is essential.Project budget, timeline and deliverable management.BSME/MSME or equivalent combination of experience and education.7+ years’ experience in new product development or mechanical engineering role.Design experience with capital/process equipment and small products with significant mechanisms and robotics automation.Experience with manufacturing processes (i.e. Injection Molding, Extrusion, Metal Forming & Stamping) is desirable.Experience integrating industrial design and human factors in design is desired.
