Project Engineer – Mechanical (Data Center Project)Location: Selangor, MalaysiaContract Type: 1-year renewableAbout the Role We are looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to support and oversee mechanical systems for a hyperscale data center project in Selangor. The position will coordinate HVAC, chilled water, and fire protection systems in a high-availability facility environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReview mechanical designs, shop drawings, and submittals.Coordinate installation works with other disciplines and ensure quality control.Monitor site progress, testing & commissioning, and report project milestones.Ensure safety compliance and adherence to specifications.Support resolution of technical or coordination issues on site.Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics/IT for ELV).Minimum 5 years’ experience in building, infrastructure, or mission-critical projects.Experience in data center, semiconductor, or pharmaceutical projects is advantageous but not mandatory.Fluent in English, both spoken and written.Candidates currently residing in Malaysia with valid work rights will be prioritized. Candidates with ≤2 months’ notice period prioritized.Background and medical fitness checks required.
