Duties And ResponsibilitiesLead and manage business development initiatives to identify, pursue, and secure new mechanical engineering projects.Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare project proposals, feasibility studies, and technical documentation.Provide engineering input during project planning, design, and execution phases.Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify emerging opportunities and risks.Ensure all work adheres to applicable engineering standards, safety protocols, and quality requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and support knowledge transfer within the engineering team.RequirementsBachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum of 7 years’ hands-on experience in Business Development within an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environment.Proven experience managing and executing projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines and client expectations.Demonstrated ability to work with humility, fostering collaboration and respect in diverse teams.Strong record of acting with integrity, maintaining transparency and accountability in professional dealings.Consistent display of commitment to achieving goals, meeting deadlines, and upholding quality standards.Experience in project planning and execution will be an added advantage.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
