Mechanical Static Equipment Engineer

Here are below your responsibilities:Support Lead to review Contractual technical documentation and requirements.Support Lead to define engineering requirements and interface with other disciplines and optimizes systems ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance.Prepares the technical documentation for rotating equipment requisitions (specification, data sheets etc., where requested).Technical negotiation with vendors and controls of vendor documents.Prepares technical evaluation and technical tabulation for vendor technical alignment.Follow-up of assigned equipment/package after order award.Checks and signs all vendor, drawings in coordination with other disciplines.Attends internal review activities and participates in inter-discipline check meetings (where required)Provide support for expediting and testing activities.Provide support for document management and prepare the final documentation book.Prepare material take-off to support construction activity.Assist construction activity by providing information and clarification through vendor(s).What are we looking for?Having degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputable universities.At least 10 years working experience in static equipment engineering work (EPCI projects).Having experience in design of static equipment such as pressure vessels, drums, filters, pig traps, columns, shell and tube heat exchangers, plate and frame heat exchangers, and storage tanks.Familiar with international codes and standards such as ASME VIII Div 1 and Div 2, ASME B31.8,ASME B31.4, TEMA, API 660, and API 662. Having experience with ship classification societies such as DNV, ABS and BKI is a plus point.At least familiar with pressure vessel design software such as COMPRESS and PV Elite. Familiar with other design software such as AUTOCAD and HTRI (thermal design of shell and tube heat exchangers) is a plus point.Having capability of Finite Element Analysis and Analytical Calculation (such as Roark’s formulas) is a plus point.Able to communicate in verbal and written English.Having computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications.Having work experience with floating facilities is a plus point.Able to work in a team and able to communicate with other disciplines in a project.Having ability and sensitivity to work with people from variety of cultural backgrounds.What can we offer to you :A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance that covers the employee and up to three dependent children.Our One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development, career growth, and opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.Head Office Location: PT.
