We are seeking a dedicated Research and Executive Assistant to support our founder in research, content creation, and media management, contributing to our mission of faith-driven empowerment.Position SummaryThe Research and Executive Assistant will serve as a key support to the founder of Christ Ark Holdings, acting as a global insights curator, general content creator, social media strategist, and executive aide. This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for faith-inspired analysis, digital media, and basic video production. Responsibilities span monitoring global trends, conducting in-depth research, producing engaging content across platforms (including capturing, editing, and publishing videos), managing social media, and providing executive support, including travel accompaniment for content capture. The assistant will function as a versatile content creator, handling basic video capturing of the founder's activities, editing footage infused with researched insights, and publishing on social media to align with executive and social media management duties. This is a full-time, onsite position based in our office in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria, with opportunities for travel and direct collaboration with the founder.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role is structured around four core pillars—Research, Content Creation, Social Media Management, and Executive Assistance—while incorporating comprehensive duties, including basic media/video production as a general content creator. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:ResearchContinuously monitor trending global issues in economic, social, and political spheres using tools like news aggregators, social media alerts, and analytical platforms to stay ahead of developments.Conduct thorough research on diverse opinions, mainstream narratives, and unpopular truths, sourcing from academic journals, think tanks, faith-based resources, and alternative media to provide balanced, insightful analyses.Analyze issues through a faith-centered lens, dissecting them to reveal God's perspective and guide Africans toward critical thinking and optimal decision-making.Prepare daily/weekly briefings for the founder, summarizing key trends, potential impacts on African markets, and strategic recommendations aligned with Christ Ark Holdings' mission.Maintain a research database for quick reference, tracking evolving stories and archiving resources for future content.Content CreationDevelop and produce high-quality content for the founder's YouTube podcast, including scripting episodes, researching topics, and incorporating basic video production elements such as capturing footage, editing videos, and infusing researched insights to ensure engaging, faith-infused discussions on global trends.Write articles, opinion pieces, and blog posts for the Christ Ark Holdings website, translating complex analyses into accessible, inspirational narratives that empower readers.Create short-form content such as social media posts, reels, stories, and infographics, incorporating visuals, quotes, and calls-to-action to drive engagement and viral potential.Act as a general content creator by capturing the founder's activities during travels or events using basic video equipment, editing footage to integrate researched content, and preparing it for publishing on social media or other platforms.Collaborate creatively with the founder to brainstorm and refine content ideas, ensuring alignment with our vision of preserving the Elects of Christ in the marketplace.Social Media ManagementOversee all social media accounts (e.g., Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok), scheduling posts, monitoring interactions, and growing follower base through targeted strategies.Respond to audience comments, messages, and engagements in a timely, professional manner, fostering a community of faith-driven thinkers.Analyze performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics or platform insights to optimize content strategies, reporting on engagement, reach, and growth.Develop content calendars that tie into global trends, ensuring consistent posting and alignment with economic, social, and political discussions.Manage crisis communications on social platforms, addressing controversies or misinformation with poise and faith-based wisdom.Publish edited video content and other media directly to social channels, leveraging basic production skills to enhance posts with captured and researched elements.Executive AssistanceProvide comprehensive administrative support to the founder, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing travel itineraries.Accompany the founder on trips to capture content via basic video production, handle logistics, and ensure seamless execution of events or engagements.Handle confidential tasks with discretion, such as preparing reports, managing contacts, and coordinating with team members or external partners.Assist in event planning for Christ Ark Holdings, such as webinars, conferences, or community outreach, tying them into content creation opportunities through video capture and editing.Perform ad-hoc duties as needed, adapting to the dynamic needs of a thought leadership role in a faith-centered financial holding, including quick content turnaround using basic editing and publishing skills.Qualifications and RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, International Relations, Economics, Political Science, or a related field; advanced certifications in digital media, video production, or research are a plus.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in research, content creation, social media management, or executive assistance, preferably in media, think tanks, or faith-based organizations.Basic media/video production skills, including capturing footage with standard equipment (e.g., smartphones or entry-level cameras), editing using software like Adobe Premiere Rush or iMovie, and publishing content to social platforms.Strong understanding of global economic, social, and political trends, with the ability to integrate faith-based perspectives and critical analysis.Proven skills in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video editing software) and social media platforms.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for general content production.Proficiency in research tools (e.g., Google Alerts, academic databases) and analytics software.Passion for faith-inspired initiatives, with a commitment to ethical practices and empowering African communities through informed decision-making.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment, managing multiple priorities independently.Full-time availability for onsite work at our Surulere, Lagos office, with accommodation provided;
