We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a global leader in fintech media, marketing and events, for an experienced News Editor to join their dynamic editorial team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about uncovering compelling stories in the B2B sphere of trading, fintech, and crypto, and who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You'll contribute to and shape the coverage of a globally distributed digital newsroom, bringing sharp editorial instincts and an investigative mindset.
Develop and write short and long-form articles, as well as cover breaking news related to the B2B aspects of the trading, fintech, and cryptocurrency industries. Build well-researched stories using a mix of news developments, interviews, public records, and data analysis. Navigate complex and time-sensitive topics, maintaining accuracy and clarity under pressure. Collaborate with the editorial team to plan coverage, meet deadlines and maintain high journalistic standards. Apply strong editorial judgment and a resourceful, proactive approach to sourcing and verifying information. Requirements Native or High level of English language.
Demonstrated editorial experience (2-5 years) in a digital newsroom or content-focused setting. Proven investigative journalism experience. Familiarity with B2B coverage in financial markets, trading, fintech, or regulatory topics. Experience using AI-assisted tools to support content research, ideation, and editing while maintaining editorial integrity. Ability to analyse complex topics and translate them into clear, engaging, and accessible content for a professional audience. Excellent collaboration and communication skills in remote team settings. Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
