📌 Part-Time Medical Administrative Assistant (Virtual Assistant)(EMR: TEBRA/KAREO & HEALTHIE)Job Code: RN-MedVASchedule: Weekends (Saturday–Sunday)Hours: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM Eastern Time (EST)Compensation: $5–$6 per hour (depending on experience)Type: Part-Time, Long-TermIndustry: Weight Loss Clinic / Healthcare Administration Note: Schedule will transition to Pacific Time (PST) starting January📍 About the RoleWe are seeking a dependable, proactive, and highly organized Medical Administrative Assistant to support a growing weight loss clinic. The ideal candidate has experience with EHR systems—especially Tebra—and is comfortable assisting in the upcoming transition to Healthie.This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to support clinic operations as volume increases. You should be teachable, tech-savvy, and confident in suggesting better workflows or tools when needed.🩺 Key Responsibilities1. EHR / EMR ManagementUse and manage Tebra (current system)Assist with transitioning to HealthieImport clinical notes, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure smooth data migrationSupport documentation and organization of patient information2. Administrative & Clinic SupportAnswer and route clinic phone calls professionallyManage inboxes, messages, appointment scheduling, and follow-upsSupport patient inquiries and general administrative tasksMaintain calendars and ensure providers stay organizedAssist with miscellaneous backend tasks essential to clinic operations3. Payment SystemsWork with third-party payment platforms (e.g., Payment Doctor, Costco)Support billing processes for a cash-based practiceLearn additional payment systems as needed4. Social Media SupportManage basic content posting and engagement on Instagram and FacebookSuggest post ideas and help maintain consistent brand activityIdeally comfortable interacting with followers and responding to simple inquiries5.
