Job Title: Medical Receptionist (Remote - LATAM or South Africa Preferred)Schedule: Full-time | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ESTAbout The RoleWe’re looking for a warm, empathetic, and highly organized Medical Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients reaching out by phone. This role is all about creating a positive, welcoming experience while efficiently managing a high volume of calls.You’ll handle general inquiries, assist callers with scheduling requests, collect insurance information, and route individuals to the appropriate team (intake or billing). This is not an intake coordination position — the focus is on front-line reception and client communication.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer a high volume of incoming calls in a professional and compassionate manner Handle general questions, appointment requests, and insurance information collection Route callers appropriately to the intake or billing team Maintain accurate call notes and ensure clear communication across teams Provide a warm, reassuring experience for every caller Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff process RequirementsExcellent English communication skills (C1 level or higher) — both spoken and written Prior experience as a medical receptionist or in a high-volume call environment strongly preferred Demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and strong customer service orientation Reliable internet connection and quiet, distraction-free workspace Based in Latin America or South Africa, with ability to work 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with healthcare terminology, insurance processes, or medical office systems Experience with call management or CRM tools
