Our 200 legal industry professionals work in partnership with clients to provide truly proactive legal services through personal relationships.Acting as a trusted advisor to individuals, businesses and local authorities, the solicitors and support staff at Holmes & Hills take the time to understand clients’ objectives before delivering practical advice through a personal and accessible approach.THE ROLEWe have an exciting opportunity for Medical Records Administration Assistant to join our Clinical Negligence and Serious Injury team.Based in our Marks Tey office, your role will be to coordinate and prepare chronologies of medical records and paginated bundles working alongside our in-house nurse. The working patten of this role is office based four full days per week including a Friday.Day to Day Duties will include:Making Access Requests for medical records with associated follow upObtaining additional or missing records or informationInputting data into, updating and monitoring the Medical Records DatabasePerusing and collating medical records and advising on quality and when records are missing, or records are required from other healthcare providersSorting medical records to produce relevant chronologies.Paginating medical recordsAssisting with taking new claims enquiries and obtaining all relevant information when requiredLiaising with clients and third parties over the phone or by emailUpdating internal systemsAssisting Fee Earners and carrying out other ad hoc tasks that assist the team.Maintaining compliance in accordance with internal policies and GDPRWHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED? We are looking for an experienced medical secretary, nurse, Legal Administrative Support Secretary or Legal Assistant looking for their next role. You should demonstrate an interest for working within a Clinical Negligence and Serious Injury department and will ideally have previous experience of working in a role that has had to deal with medical records and chronologies.WHAT SKILLS SHOULD I HAVE?
