They participate and support the analysis, feasibility, selection, implementation, maintenance & support of medication management related HIT systems. Responsible for the management and delivery of medication related data, information and knowledge. Responsible for the development and management of medication related reporting & analytics. Responsible for leading and coordinating multidisciplinary teams and medication management related projects. Interacts, communicates and collaborates effectively across diverse teams, disciplines and departments. Actively promotes, facilitates and participates in medication use process supporting technology research and educational activities. May be required to provide on-call support.QualificationsRequired QualificationsGraduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree (or Pharmacy BS degree if graduated before 2000). Epic CertificationANDCompletion of an accredited PGY2 pharmacy residency in pharmacy informatics; ORAccredited PGY1 pharmacy residency AND 2-years applicable* pharmacy informatics or pharmacy practice experience; ORA minimum of 4-years applicable* pharmacy informatics or pharmacy practice experience.Applicable experience includes providing progressive services in clinical informatics and pharmacy practice.Preferred QualificationsCompletion of an informatics related certification or advanced degree programDeep understanding of core pharmacy operations and has developed expertise in managing end - end medication use management supporting systems.Experience with leading multidisciplinary teams and projects and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Additional QualificationsProven history of successfully working in a team environment. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet and data base applications. License and CertificationLicense to practice Pharmacy in the state the applicant resides.
