Job summary We are seeking a proactive and strategically minded Fleet Sales Key Account Manager to manage and grow relationships within the Italian Public and Private bus operators. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and responding to public tenders and procurement opportunities, ensuring compliance with all government regulations, and driving revenue growth through long-term client partnerships. This role requires a deep understanding of public procurement processes and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to public sector entities regarding their fleet needs.  Location: Field-base activity in northern Italy (HQ in Bomporto - Modena, Italy).Reports to: Line Busses’ Sales Director (Head of Public Sector Sales)      Key responsibilities Tender & bid management: identify, evaluate, and manage strategy to respond to public tenders, ensuring profitability and preparing tailored and compliant documentation. Manage timelines and coordinate post-award activities. Relationship management: build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in PTOs and PTAs, serving as the main point of contact to ensure client satisfaction. Sales strategy & execution: develop B2G sales strategies to meet targets, analyses market trends, and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Collaboration & coordination: work with internal teams to optimize pricing and delivery and mediate between clients and internal departments. Reporting: monitor trends & development, opportunities, profitability and prepare reports and forecasts for management using CRM and other tools.Required qualifications At least 5 years’ experience in key account management or B2G sales or in PTOs with tender department, with a focus on tenders and fleet sales/acquisitions and a track record of securing public sector contracts or acquisitions. Education, Skills & Knowledge: ·        Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.·        strong understanding of public procurement path, e-tendering and contract management;·        technical product knowledge of buses, particularly regarding Class I and Class II vehicles intended for local public transport (Directive 2001/85/EC);·        excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite;·        fluent in Italian and English. German as a plus.·        proactive, results-oriented with strong business attitude, excellent organizational and time management skills, high ethical standards.·        Wide availability for business trips.
