Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser to manage and service our global export clients. This role combines coordination, communication, product development support, and end-to-end shipment management to ensure a smooth experience for our international partners.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Servicing & CommunicationAct as the primary point of contact for all export clients.Maintain timely and professional communication regarding orders, samples, changes, and project status.Track and follow up on client requirements, feedback, and approvals.Quotations & CostingPrepare accurate quotations based on product specifications, materials, and finishing requirements.Coordinate with internal departments for costing inputs and timely submission of quotes.Production CoordinationPlan and track production schedules for all export orders.Liaise with manufacturing, store, and QC teams to ensure timelines are met without compromising quality.Sampling & Product DevelopmentCoordinate development of new samples and product modifications.Work closely with design, R&D, and production teams for NPD (New Product Development).Ensure samples meet client specifications and are dispatched on schedule.Quality & ShipmentsEnsure all export shipments are QC-checked, documented, and dispatched as per client and logistics requirements.Maintain checklists, inspection reports, and shipment records for all orders.Strategic SupportAssist the Director – Sales (Exports) in building relationships with new and upcoming international clients.Support in preparing presentations, catalogues, communication drafts, and follow-ups for new business development.Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication skills (written & verbal).High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.Understanding of production processes, materials, finishes, and packaging.Problem-solving mindset with strong follow-up discipline.Experience in export merchandising, product development, or related roles preferred.Ideal Candidate2–5 years of experience in merchandising, exports, or client coordination (preferably in HoReCa / tableware / stainless steel products).Well-organized, responsive, and comfortable working with international timelines.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and prioritize tasks effectively.
