The mission is to enhance effectiveness and efficiency across merchandising and its cross-functional partners by providing clarity, governance, and digitalised solutions for product-related data.Working closely with the Merchandising Operations & Analytics Manager and the wider HQ teams, this role will serve as the data linchpin for the EU merchandising function. The focus lies in improving merchandising information flow, developing analytical tools, and delivering creative, actionable insights that empower strategic and operational decision-making.Responsibilities Data Management & Integrity: Serve as the primary owner for merchandising data quality. Develop and enforce data governance rules, monitor system deliverables, and proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies to ensure a single source of truth.Analytics & Insight Generation: Analyse merchandising data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights and compelling visualisations to support strategic decisions.Framework Development & Automation: Design, build, and maintain analytical tools, dashboards, and automated reports in Excel and cloud-based BI platforms to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a trusted data partner for the Merchandising team and key stakeholders. Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure data solutions align with operational goals.Process Improvement: Identify root causes of data and process inefficiencies. Propose and implement creative, data-driven solutions to optimise information flow and merchandising operations.Required Qualifications Strong proficiency in Excel is essential; experience with SQL is a significant advantage for data extraction and manipulationProven experience in an analytics role with a strong logical and structured approach to problem-solvingAbility to build data models, interpret data, and present insights with precision and clarityExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams, translating technical concepts for non-technical audiencesA strong sense of ownership, action orientation, and high attention to detail, with a passion for creating order from ambiguity in a fast-paced environmentDesirable but Not Essential Experience in Merchandising, Retail, Fashion, or consumer industryFamiliarity with European retail landscapes and product lifecycle systemsInterest in art toy, pop culture, and collectible trends
