WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FORStrategic Planning: You take ownership of developing and managing seasonal and long-term merchandise plans that align with sales, margin, and stock targets.Data-Driven Insights: You dive deep into sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to forecast demand and optimize assortments that truly meet our customers' needs.Smart Budgeting: You define and allocate buying budgets across product categories, channels, and store types - always balancing commercial goals with creative vision.Performance Management: You keep a close eye on key business metrics like sell-through rates, stock levels, and markdowns, taking action to ensure the best results each season.Commercial Decisions: You recommend and manage stock movements, replenishments, markdowns, and promotions, making sure every decision supports overall profitability.Collaboration in Action: You work hand in hand with Buyers, Designers, and cross-functional partners to ensure our collections perform as beautifully in numbers as they do on the shop floor.Leadership & Development: You prepare insightful reports, guide key merchandise strategies like NOS (Never Out of Stock), and support the growth and coaching of team members as the function expands. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORYour Education: You hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.Your Strengths: You combine strong analytical thinking with commercial intuition. You're confident in using data to make decisions and comfortable working with Excel and merchandise planning systems like Oracle or SAP. Your ability to prioritize, communicate clearly, and adapt quickly helps You succeed in a fast-paced retail environment.Your Profile: You bring several years of experience in merchandising, planning, or financial controlling within fashion or retail. You've proven You can manage complex merchandise plans, drive profitability, and align teams across functions. Fluency in English is essential - Dutch and/or German are a plus.
