ResponsibilitiesMergers & Acquisitions (M&A):Identify potential M&A and strategic partnership opportunities aligned with corporate growth objectivesConduct detailed financial modelling and valuation analysisPerform financial forecasting, business case development, and scenario analysis; Assess financial and operational risks associated with the transactionManage due diligence processes, working closely with internal teams, external advisors, and investment banksCreate presentations for internal review and senior leadershipLead drafting of all transaction documents as well as closing proceduresAssist in post-merger integration, ensuring synergies and operational alignmentStrategy & Corporate DevelopmentDevelop and refine business segment wise strategy, assessing industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities; lead creation of strategic plan documents for the businessSupport senior leadership in defining long-term business objectives and investment planConduct market research and competitor benchmarkingPrepare strategic plan and annual operating plan presentations and reports for executive leadershipIdentify and evaluate potential partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures to drive business expansionMonitor post-investment performance and strategic alignment with corporate objectivesLead program management for key corporate initiatives, ensuring completion and achievement of milestonesQualificationsMBA (Finance) from Tier 1 institute / CA+Minimum CFA Level 2 (preferred)5-7 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in M&A / Strategy rolesUnderstanding of M&A processes, documentation, and financial analysisProficiency in financial modeling and presentation skillsHands-on experience with financial dataset tools (Bloomberg / Capital IQ) High attention to detail along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
