Job Description

Job PurposeThe Shared Services Mgr, RTR Central will be responsible for preparation of the local statutory accounts, tax returns and any statistical studies or requests from local governments organizations and/or banks. Additionally this position will be responsible for providing, reviewing and approving certain transactional RTR activities for the CCEP Business Unit including general ledger transactions, reconciliations, month end close activities. The position will also be tasked with driving and delivering RTR service excellence projects to the business with an emphasis on customer service and continuous process improvement to further enhance the RTR service level and effectiveness expected throughout.Key Responsibilities Prepare annual local statutory accounts and tax returns Prepare and supports the compilation of the monthly, quarterly and year-end tax package and other information requested by the Corporate Tax department Ensure that CCEP policies are adhered to (e.g. approvals, financial guidelines, etc.) Ensure the accurate and timely completion of general ledger journals and balance sheet reconciliations Undertakes the completion (including review and approval) of the relevant journal entries Handle identified issues, queries and needs, which have been escalated due to non-resolution, or where resolution is urgent and important Ensure all Record to Report period end closing procedures are completed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner Ensure monthly and quarterly schedules, reports and inputs where applicable are provided in a timely and accurate manner Supply advice on General Ledger and Tax processes and support continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting requirements and internal controls (SOX) Offer support and perform the required oversight management routines for the team. Support teamKey Stakeholders Internal: BUExternal: External auditorsExperience Preferred Minimum of 5 years accounting experience preferably in a SSC multi-national organization and/or Big 4 audit firm Ability to address or escalate complex issues within the Record to Report area Solid understanding of general accounting and reporting in compliance with GAAP and requirements of regulatory agenciesLanguage Capability & expert levelEnglish : essential PLUS one other languageEducation & Qualifications Required University degree and professional accounting qualification Strong ERP experience essential, preferably SAPCapability Required & Expert Level Analytical Thinking - Intermediate Relationship Management - Intermediate Finance Operations and Accounting - Advanced Corporate Finance and Treasury - Advanced Audit and Risk Management - Intermediate System Literacy - AdvancedBehavioural Capabilities Good presentation skills to communicate results to your stakeholders. Attention to detail Analytical thinking for the evaluation of accounting and business processes Excellent organisational and time management skills Teamwork and verbal and written communication skills. Project and process management skills are required to successfully manage audits
