Microbiology Technician - 12 Month FTC

Terumo Aortic currently recruiting for a Microbiology Technician to join our team on a 12 month FTC. We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to provide essential support to our Quality Control (QC) department, primarily focused on microbiology. This role offers the chance to work in a high-quality, regulated environment within the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be required to perform all required microbiological tests in accordance with relevant procedures:Sterility controlWater bioburden and endotoxin testingProduct bioburden and endotoxin testingTesting of raw materialsEM of cleanroomsPreparation of mediaReceipt of goods inRoutine laboratory tasksEquipment verificationPerform any validation workRaise QCO/ECO/CRB ChangesReport writingPerform Microbiology awareness sessions Management review data preparation Any other duties as described by the Quality Shift LeadWhat We're Looking ForRelevant science degree or equivalent experience in a regulated industryWorking knowledge of excel and word for windowsAttention to detail requiredClean room experience would be advantageous
