We pride ourselves on our team, work environment, and employee-first approach where we emphasize employee wellbeing & growth strongly.Job Responsibilities:We are looking for a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in enhancing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless code delivery, system reliability, and scalability. If you're passionate about automation, infrastructure as code, and building efficient engineering systems.As a Mid Devops Engineer, your responsibilities would typically be to:Work in an agile environment as part of a full design and development team, participating in scrum ceremonies and interacting with and supporting our customers.Manage infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible or Cloud Formation.Configure and maintain AWS resources such as EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Load Balancers and VPCs.Implement AWS SFTP solutions for secure file transfers and automate configurations.Manage identity and access management (IAM), networking and security in AWS.Automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components to ensure scalability and reliability.Implement and maintain configuration management tools (eg. Puppet, Chef or Ansible) tomanage system configurations and ensure consistency across environments.Set up monitoring tools to track system performance, identify issues and implement proactive measures.Serve as a subject matter expert for containerization and DevOps and provide relevant advice to team members and customers.Engage with customers in finding the needs of projects and take full ownership of them.Design and Implement Cloud & Software technologies based on requirements.Focus on customer satisfaction to increase the value we deliver.Reviews application requirements and anticipates system needs in order to ensure the availability and scalability of systems.Troubleshoots code and assists with the resolution of coding issues.Lead team to work on deliverables and overall growth of individual, team and company.Involvement in providing training, webinars and seminars to individuals, companies or an event.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalentwork experience 3+ years of relevant experience in an IT environment.Required Skills:Proficiency in English.Strong knowledge of distributed and enterprise application architectures, both in the cloud and on-premises.Knowledge of Networking services both on Cloud and On-prem.Practical experience with Cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP and Azure in a productionenvironment (network, security, applications, serverless and containers).Interact with clients, provide cloud support and make recommendations based on client needs.Excellent knowledge of at least one Infrastructure as Code/Configuration as Code technology (such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt).Outstanding familiarity with build pipelines, including CodeBuild, Jenkins, TeamCity, AzurePipeline and Concourse CI.Scale and optimize a variety of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL) and NoSQLdatabases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra) web servers (Nginx, Apache, Tomcat, IIS)application frameworks (Springboot, Django or Flask, Express) caches (Elasticsearch, Redis,Memcached) and distributed messaging systems (SNS, SQS, Kafka).Strong experience with Linux and Windows system administration.Proven track record of supporting production systems, and ability to effectively coordinate cloud infrastructure service requests and incident response.Experience with project management technologies (Agile, Scrum) and version control systems (SVN, GIT).Demonstrated expertise in business applications, information, and/or technical architecture design .Expert understanding of CI tools such as Jenkins, Travis, Azure, DevOps, etc.Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker or other containerization technologies.Attention to detail, abstract thinking, and problem-solving skills.Ensuring observability of platforms with tools like Nagios, DataDog, NewRelic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stacks, etc.Implementing security tools like WAF, Firewall Managers, etc.Why Join us?Adex is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status.
