1.JOB DESCRIPTION: Project Role: Mid Manual QA Location: Alabang MuntinlupaWork Setup: Hybrid Shift Schedule: Night shift JOB SPECIFICATIONSThe candidate must have:● Obtained a Bachelor’s or College degree in either of the following - Industrial Engineering,Management Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering,Information Technology and/or related field.● At least three to four (3-4) years working experience in Quality Assurance and/or testing and 2+ years with API Testing ● Must be proficient in writing test cases and test scripts and basic automation experience.● Must have an experience in creating a Master Test plan● Must have an in-depth understanding of Test Design Techniques, QA methodologies andSoftware Development Life Cycle (both Waterfall and Agile Development);● With substantial knowledge of QA testing tools, different test design techniques, standardsand processes● Exposure in business operations related to manufacturing, distribution and financialoperations will be an advantage I. POSITION OBJECTIVES / JOB SUMMARYEnsures that business requirement specification are analysed, understood properly, and able totranslate into functional specifications and test cases.Evaluates and tests new or modified software programs and software development procedures usedto verify if programs are functioning according to user requirements and conform to establishedguidelines.Ensures that the system is released conforming to the functions and requirements set and agreed bythe customer and development, supported by the Test Summary Report and/or Acceptance TestCertificate.Collaborates with Senior Quality Analyst in applying knowledge and experience to mostly routinesituations, application of working or functional knowledge and capability in a particular process ormethod. II. KEY RESULTS AREAS / JOB RESPONSIBILITIES1. Quality Process Masterya. Understand and comply with the defined and agreed Software Development Life Cycleand CMMI standards of the organization.b. Understands various approaches used in testing such as System, Integration andRegression.c. Able to apply appropriate test design techniques in writing test cases.d. Creates test plan and test effort estimation for small to medium sized projects.e. Reviews test cases and test scripts written by Junior Manual Quality Analyst. Makerecommendations, as necessary.f. Writes test cases and test scripts, creates test data and requirement traceability matrix.g. Properly executes the given test cases / test scripts, identifies the correct behaviors of thesystem under test, replicates and reports uncovered defects.h. Performs the activities necessary to execute tests in accordance with the test plan and testdesign (including setting up tests and test data).i. Tests and certifies software defect fixes and new functionality. Executes functional,application and regression tests for software releases.j. Writes clear and precise defect reports as required for identified software defects andfunctional defects based on testing results.k. Writes and submits Test Summary Report and/or Acceptance Test Certificate.l. Collaborates with Senior Manual Quality Analyst in peer review of the RTM, test cases andtest summary report and/or acceptance test certificate documents.m. Reviews and analyses test results and makes recommendationsn. Enforces quality procedures and guidelines across the Software Development Life Cycle.o. Contributes to the continuous improvement of the QA procedures and guidelines.p. Satisfy customer by providing clear testing specifications and quality product according tospecified requirements.q.
