Role: Midweight Interior designerContract Length: Full-time, PermanentLocation: Richmond, London (5 days/week in studio)Job Description: Residence One is looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and detail-driven Interior Designer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity that will allow you to take ownership of components of high-end residential projects within Prime Central London.The ideal candidate will have a positive and professional attitude, with a solid understanding of interior detailing, technical delivery, and ability to document independently, across all project stages.Key Responsibilities:Prepare concept designs with the Senior Designers and/or DirectorsDevelop projects through detailed design, including presentations, spatial plans, and material schemesAssist in preparing tender documentation packages including drawings, details, finish schedules and technical specificationsCreate FF&E schedules with accurate costings, coordinating specifications with drawing packages.Coordinate with the wider team, including consultants, suppliers and fabricators throughout the design process.Managing FF&E procurement schedules, supporting the budget tracking and FF&E documentationAttend site meetings and liaise with contractors and the site manager to ensure accurate deliveryAssist in on-site construction stages, demonstrating the ability to problem solveEnsure projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and to budgetCandidate Requirements:2-3 years’ experience working in the high-end residential interiors sectorProficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite. EstiPC and SketchUp beneficial but not essential.A meticulous eye for detail and strong creative abilityArticulate with excellent written and presentation skillsA team player who enjoys collaborating with others but can also take ownership of tasks and work independentlyA proactive approach to working, with an ability to take the initiative and drive projectsStrong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Eager to grow within a collaborative, creative and resourceful environment.Must be able to work in-office (Richmond) full-time.
