Key Responsibilities/dutiesReview and comment on Contractor's designs and material submissionsInspect work in progress for conformance to specifications, approved drawings and method statementsReview, monitor and report on progress of worksCheck plant, equipment and materials delivered and verify against approved submissionsCheck measurement sheets for the work done and check Contractor’s payment certificatesCoordinate with the Client and ContractorLiaise with other AuthoritiesAssert with and coordinate forward planningLiaise with all parties for site safetyEnsure prompt exchange of correspondence and approvalsEnsure accuracy and completeness of recordsEssential Candidate RequirementsBachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)Experience with contractor or consultancy experienceExperience of working on large housing scheme with associated infrastructure workProven track-record within a similar role ideally within a consultancyExcellent communication skills in both written and spoken EnglishOur PurposeAt Mott MacDonald, our purpose is to improve society by considering social outcomes in everything we do; relentlessly focusing on excellence and digital innovation, transforming our clients’ businesses, our communities and employee opportunities.
