MSAT Manager

Job Title: Head of MSAT (Manufacturing Science & Technology)Job Summary:Lead the MSAT function to support manufacturing operations, technology transfer, process validation, and continuous improvement for commercial and clinical biologics products. Ensure processes are robust, compliant with cGMP, and aligned with site and global objectives.Key Responsibilities:Lead MSAT team and manage resources, budget, and performance.Oversee technology transfer, process validation, and lifecycle management of products.Support troubleshooting, CAPA, deviation investigations, and process improvement initiatives.Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA/QC, Regulatory, and Engineering teams.Drive adoption of automation, PAT, and data-driven process improvements.Develop and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and innovation.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.15+ years in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, including tech transfer, validation, and MSAT leadership.Strong knowledge of upstream/downstream biologics processing, single-use systems, and regulatory compliance.Proven leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Key Competencies:Strategic thinker with ability to execute and influence at senior levels.Strong communicator and change agent.Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
