Murex Finance

SoHo Dragon represents a Global Financial Technology company that needs to hire a Finance Consultant.Locations: New York, Toronto, Mexico City, Chile, Sao PauloJuniorWhat You’ll DoAdvising on Murex best practices in the P&L processes, position management, accounting, hedge accounting and financial reporting. Contributing to client-site MX.3 implementations during the requirements gathering, design, build, test, and deployment phases by participating in workshops, preparing documentation, configuring client requirements and performing quality assurance tests. Providing client support including managing open issues and supporting upgrade activities. Communicating development needs to the Murex product development team Providing internal and external training. Who You AreIdeal candidate is someone with 2-3 years experience in capital markets technology. The candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles under IFRS or US GAAP. Knowledge of hedge accounting is a plus. Preferable experience includes supporting either trading, treasury or accounting at banks or other financial institutions or has experience with other fintech vendors. Strong academic background in accounting, engineering or a math-based discipline (math, operations research, statistics etc.) Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating system, SQL, and basic programming is a plus. Advanced level of English is mandatory.
