If you’re detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to grow, this is your chance to step directly into the world of professional investing.Job OverviewThe Mutual Funds Assistant provides prompt, reliable, courteous and professional support services to all internal and external customers, with adherence to 100% completeness and accuracy of data inputted. The position also performs the administrative duties and functions of the Client Operations Team as directed by the Team Leader - Client Operations and the Senior Manager - Finance.Job Responsibilities Bank Processing – Accurate processing of Bank transactions for clients. Accurately processing payout and deposits in a timely manner to ensure all clients’ expectations are met as per Guardian’s standard. Payment types include online account transfers, local and foreign wire transfer letter preparation, US Dollar draft letter preparation and collection and preparation of TTD Cheques. Data Entry of all daily subscriptions/redemptions. Accurately processing of transaction on 4 Series both manually and via system uploads. Loan Processing - Administering Loans and Premium Financing. Loans and premium financing requested by clients are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner in order to keep customer satisfaction optimal. Bank Reconciliation - subscriptions, redemptions, clearing and commission bank accounts. Preparation of account reconciliations monthly to ensure data entry matches bank transactions and that there are no missed or long outstanding amounts or inconsistencies Account creation, amendments, and routine data quality exercises. Creation of new clients’ account/amendment to ensure consistency with source information and to meet all Know your clients and data quality requirements. Audit related requests – Internal & external. Assist with the preparation of all reports & supporting documentation to internal and external auditors Regulatory Reporting on client transaction. Assist with the preparation of all reports to internal and external regulators. These are reports sent to both CBTT & SEC monthly, to meet company regulatory requirements. Perform any job- related duties as assigned by the Team Leader- Client Operations/ Senior Manager.Education And Experience 5 CXC/CSEC Passes including Mathematics and English Language. 2 A’ Level/ CAPE passes. CAT or pursuing Level 1 ACCA Knowledge of financial products/ servicesAdditional RequirementAs a regulated entity with obligations under the Know Your Employee guidelines, a Certificate of Character is required.Person SpecificationThe Mutual Fund Assistant must be systematic, methodical and well organized and must demonstrate the ability to follow instructions accurately as well as use initiative where necessary.
