With a reputation for excellence and efficiency, we are trusted partners on major projects such as the Melbourne Metro, West Gate Tunnel, Data Centres, and the New Footscray Hospital.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector with a NACE 2 qualification and is well versed in all aspects of industrial corrosion protection. This hands-on role involves conducting blast and DFT inspections, managing quality documentation, and ensuring compliance with coating standards in a factory environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform visual inspections, surface profile tests, and daily quality checks.Act as the primary liaison between customer service and production teams to meet client expectations.Verify compliance of materials, products, and processes with quality standards.Conduct daily integrity tests and maintain accurate job records.Collaborate with sales and production teams to understand job requirements.Inspect incoming shipments for quality, quantity, and specification accuracy.Report any issues that may impact production to the Production Manager.Ensure adherence to established guidelines, policies, and quality compliance.Serve as the point of contact for external engineers and QA inspectors.What We’re Looking For:Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance within the industrial corrosion industry.NACE Level 2 certification (mandatory).Strong understanding of technical specifications for materials and equipment.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment and meet deadlines.High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.Proficiency in MS Word & Excel.Valid driver’s license (company car and phone provided).Why Join Us?Be part of a reputable team working on high-profile projects.Competitive package including company car and phone.Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.To apply: Please submit your resume via the link or email info@actionalliance.com.au
