Let's move together!What is the role?We are on the lookout for a Buyer – Fashion Category to join our Commercial team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of fashion trends, a commercial mindset, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

You’ll be responsible for curating and managing a compelling assortment, building vendor relationships, and driving category growth across our platform. If you love fashion, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have an eye for product and detail, this is your opportunity to shape what the region wears next. Key Responsibilities: Build and manage a fashion assortment that aligns with customer demand, market trends, and Namshi’s brand positioning. Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors and brands. Analyze sales data and performance metrics to optimize product selection, pricing, and promotions.

Collaborate closely with the merchandising, planning, and marketing teams to ensure seasonal launches and campaigns are executed effectively. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines with vendors to drive profitability. Monitor category performance and stock levels to ensure healthy sell-through and minimize overstock. Identify gaps and new opportunities within the assortment and drive continuous product innovation. Attend market appointments and trade shows to stay ahead of trends and source newness. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across demand planning, content, and supply chain operations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in buying, merchandising, or retail within the fashion industry. Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Commercial awareness and understanding of regional and global fashion trends. Proven experience in vendor management, negotiation, and assortment planning. Proficiency in Excel and retail systems (experience with Oracle RMS or similar is a plus). Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills. A self-starter with a collaborative spirit and a passion for fashion.
