In the past five years, presiding over the general program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, or presiding over the project of National Social Science Foundation of China, or won the second prize or above of National Teaching and Scientific Research Achievement Award (with the certificate of the award), or won the scientific research achievement award at or above the provincial and ministerial level (ranked in the top 2 of the first prize, and ranked in the top 1 of the second prize), or won the teaching achievement award at or above the provincial and ministerial level (ranked in the top 2 of the special prize, and ranked in the first 1 of the first prize); independently or as the first author in 8 or more papers published in domestic and foreign high-level journals in the field of this discipline, including at least 2 papers published in authoritative journals at home or abroad. Those who have outstanding representative achievements in teaching and scientific research or those who are in short supply of specialized talents can appropriately reduce the requirements on the number of papers. Overseas talents are not subject to the requirements of projects and awards.Category F With doctoral degree, associate professor. In the past five years, presiding over the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, or presided over the National Social Science Foundation of China (NSSCF) projects, or won the second prize or above of the National Teaching and Research Achievement Award (with a certificate of the award), or won the scientific research achievement awards at or above the provincial and ministerial levels (the first prize ranked in the top 7, the second prize ranked in the top 5, and the third prize ranked in the top 3 ); independently or as the first author in 5 or more papers published in domestic and foreign high-level journals in the field of this discipline, including at least 2 papers published in authoritative journals at home or abroad. Doctoral degree holders or those who have been engaged in postdoctoral research for more than two years in famous universities or academic institutions at home or abroad, who have reached the equivalent level of associate professors by peer experts' evaluation. They should have published five or more papers in domestic and foreign high-level journals in their own disciplines independently or as the first author in the past four years, including at least one paper in a domestic or foreign authoritative journal. Domestic postdoctoral fellows shall preside over two projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China or National Social Science Foundation of China or provincial and ministerial level projects. For those who have outstanding teaching and scientific research achievements or those who are in shortage of specialized talents, the requirement on the number of papers can be reduced appropriately. Overseas talents are not subject to project requirements.General FacultyPossessing a doctoral degree. Generally, candidates are required to have independently published or been the first author of at least three academic papers in core journals within the past three years. BenefitsMetasequoia ScholarsThe Metasequoia Scholars are on an annual salary system (agreed salary, before tax), and are given all-round support in terms of settlement and house purchase subsidy, scientific research start-up funds, laboratory office conditions, transitional housing, and enrollment quota for postgraduates and postdocs.Category A: The annual salary is not less than 1.2 million yuan, and we will provide generous settling-in fee and start-up funds for scientific research. According to the discipline development plan, the university will provide good working conditions and living treatment for all talents. Specific requirements and treatment will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.Category B: The annual salary is not less than 900 thousands yuan, granting a settlement fee of 300 thousands yuan and a house purchase subsidy of 1.5-2.5 million yuan. Provide start-up funds for scientific research, 3-5 million yuan for natural sciences and 1-2 million yuan for humanities and social sciences. Provide necessary research and office conditions, and equip research assistants as needed.Category C: The annual salary is not less than 900 thousands yuan, granting a settlement fee of 200 thousands yuan and a house purchase subsidy of 1-1.6 million yuan. Provide start-up funds for scientific research, 800 thousands -1 million yuan for natural sciences and 400 to 500 thousands yuan for humanities and social sciences. Provide necessary scientific research and office conditions. Metasequoia TalentsDuring the employment period, according to the state and relevant regulations, they will get salary, welfare and life treatment of the corresponding position, and will enjoy the corresponding support such as settlement fee, house purchase subsidy, scientific research start-up funds, and swing housing.Category E: Provide settlement fee of 100 thousands yuan and housing subsidy of 600 thousands to 1 million yuan. Provide start-up funds for scientific research, 400 to 500 thousands yuan for natural sciences and 200 to 300 thousands yuan for humanities and social sciences. Assist in solving problems such as spouse's work and children's schooling.Category F: Provide settlement fee of 100 thousands yuan and housing subsidy of 300 to 600 yuan.
