You will be mainly focussed on the delivery of sales and gross profit targets through the management of both internal and external stakeholders. You will also have a focus on process improvement in the management of key customer areas of pricing, contract development and management, forecasting, NPD, quality, reporting and winning new business.Our ideal candidate is someone who leads with an entrepreneurial flair, is naturally curious and resilient and is able to influence to achieve the desired outcome.A normal day in the role of the National Account Manager includes:Managing the customer relationship from end to end and delivering all aspects of the budget, sales, profit, volume and cost modelMaintaining specified plans and reports within your portfolio, monthly updates and reportingDeveloping a strategic account plan to exceed budgeted targetsManaging Sales Budgets – ingredient sales turnover; sales volume; sales gross margin; growth; cost budget; debtors; stock management; accurately recording customer pipeline activitiesUnderstanding your customer KPI’s, needs and requirements to service customer satisfactionEstablishing a strong cross functional relationship with allocated accountsEstablishing internal relationships to ensure key customer performance indicators are exceededForecasting and compliance with business and customer S&OP processPlanning weekly/monthly/yearly actions required to deliver objectivesReviewing contracts to ensure compliance with customer commitments in terms volume and or timeManaging and negotiating the correct outcome and contracts for the customer and ScalzoDeveloping and implementing strategic account plans that align with the customer and deliver budget requirementsCo-ordinating internal departments to ensure NPD projects obtain buy-in, are commercially viable, are delivered on time and on budget, meeting both Scalzo’s and the customers agreed targetsGrow existing customers through insights and NPD that align with the customer and identifying and developing NPD for new categoriesWin new customers to add to the Strategic Accounts sales division which align to the identified strategySound like something that you would love to be a part of?
