My client is seeking a National Sales Manager to lead a growing sales organization and champion their values across the Canadian retail landscape. This role is ideal for a strategic, relationship-driven leader who excels in fast-paced environments and is motivated by developing people, driving growth, and strengthening retailer partnerships.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as an ambassador for the company and reinforce core values across all interactions.Lead, mentor, and develop a national sales team. Provide hands-on sales coaching and elevate sales capabilities across the team.Manage the national sales budget and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.Build and execute growth strategies for the sales team and overall revenue performance.Develop and maintain strong senior-level relationships with major Canadian retailers.Support CRM initiatives to enhance visibility, reporting, and customer engagement.Act as a senior contributor in shaping retailer and channel strategies..Establish, track, and evolve sales goals and KPIs for improved performance.Continuously refine, strengthen, and scale sales processes and best practices.Key Skills & ExperienceMinimum 2 years of experience managing national accounts with top Canadian retailers.Proven experience selling to major retailers with national exposure.Deep understanding of the Canadian retail environment, its dynamics, and decision-making processes.Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving and growth opportunities.Strong closing skills with the ability to influence and lead complex negotiations.Exceptional relationship-building abilities, both internally and externally.Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.Highly organized multi-tasker, able to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment.
