Elida Beauty is a part of the Yellow Wood Partners portfolio of companies, a private equity company that invests exclusively in the consumer industry.Role Overview Reporting directly to the Head of Sales for Canada, the Customer Account Manager is responsible for developing and strengthening key customer relationships while driving mutual, profitable growth. This role owns the Walmart and Metro/PJC businesses end-to-end, delivering against annual sales, trade, and profitability targets. Success requires strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, detailed execution, and the ability to work cross-functionally across planning, finance, brand, supply chain, and channel development.Key Responsibilities· Build and maintain strong relationships with Walmart, Metro/PJC, and other top Canadian retailers.· Lead annual planning in partnership with Brand, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment with customer strategies.· Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBP) that drive mutual growth.· Manage monthly and annual volume delivery, ensuring strong forecast accuracy and disciplined trade spend management.· Drive trade investment effectiveness and year-over-year efficiency improvements.· Customize corporate marketing, merchandising, and promotional programs with customers and cross-functional brand teams.· Lead Category Management initiatives, including assortment optimization and planogram development.· Balance individual customer needs while maintaining total market and channel integrity.· Act as the key point of contact across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and flawless execution.· Manage customer financials from contract creation to deduction resolution.· Navigate ongoing complexity and proactively identify opportunities to accelerate growth.· Contribute as an engaged member of the Customer Team, maintaining strong collaboration across the broader commercial organization.Skills & Competencies· Strong verbal and written communication skills.· Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management internally and externally.· Proven business management experience with a major Canadian retailer (Walmart experience strongly preferred).· Trade Marketing and Category Management experience an asset.· Strategic thinker with strong collaboration and influencing skills.· Excellent relationship-building and customer management capabilities.· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating complexity.· Self-starter who delivers results in a lean, agile environment.· Strong presentation skills and executive communication.Requirements· Bilingual (English & French).· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field.· Minimum 8+ years of relevant sales experience; experience in CPG, customer success, and/or account management preferred.· Strong communication and presentation skills.· Ability to work successfully in an extremely fast-paced environment with multiple priorities· Driven individual who takes pride in her/his work and professional contributionsJoin us!To ensure that your personal creativity helps to unlock our potential, we will upskill and reskill you. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
