The ideal candidate is able to demonstrate key technical differentiators of Alkira service and help our large strategic enterprise accounts transform their network to become disruptive, creative and innovative.We are looking for a proactive and technically sound Network Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in a network engineering or support role. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with network provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting. A valid networking certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent is required.This is a great opportunity for a junior-level professional to grow within a dynamic IT team and gain exposure to enterprise-level infrastructure.Location: This is a 100% remote position located in India, preferably Mumbai or BengaluruShift: Rotational Shifts (Day/Night)ResponsibilitiesProvision and configure network on Alkira platformMonitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network issuesSupport the rollout of new network solutions and servicesWork with senior engineers to implement and document network changesParticipate in on-call rotation and work in shifts, including nights and weekendsMaintain accurate documentation of network topologies, configurations, and proceduresRequirements1–2 years of experience in a network engineering or IT infrastructure roleStrong knowledge of networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, etc.)Hands-on experience provisioning network devicesNetworking certificationsuch as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalentKnowledge of cloud network and cloud security fundamentals will be preferredWillingness to work in rotational shiftsStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsGood communication and documentation skillsAbout AlkiraAlkira was founded in 2018 by Amir and Atif Khan, the visionary computer networking team that created the multi-billion-dollar SD-WAN market with the founding of Viptela.
