The global team also plays a critical role as the primary collaboration point for Product & Technology with Disney’s EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regional business teams.Job SummaryWe are currently looking for a Network Engineer II who is passionate about all areas of data networking. The role is to be a leader within a dynamic team in support of the company’s broadcast networks. The Network Engineer, as a part of a team, is responsible for all aspects of a project necessary to achieve successful implementation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone to gain exposure to best of breed technologies as well as establish themselves in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.Responsibilities And Duties Of The RoleDesign, configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN and security equipment and related services.Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems as they arise.Work with the Engineering and Operation teams to define and document network standards and architecture.Daily maintenance and problem resolution, operating system patches and software upgrades, and routine hardware configurationParticipate in 24x7 on-call rotationRequired Education, Experience/Skills/TrainingRequired Skills and Experience:3+ years working in Internet related fields, and an advanced understanding of TCP/IP.Cisco NX-OS, IOS-XR, and IOS-XE expertise.Strong Familiarity with Cisco / Arista routers and switches.Familiarity with Arista Data Center Switching.Ability to efficiently resolve network issues with varying degrees of complexity.Setup and maintenance of network log management systems.Knowledgeable in network security procedures, best practices, and implementation of network documentation and diagramming.Familiarity with Multicast configuration and troubleshootingWorking knowledge of common network monitoring and security utilitiesWillingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge.Excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate with multiple teams.Excellent customer presentation skills.Preferred QualificationsA solid understanding of network virtualization landscape along with their supporting technologies. E.g. VRFs and VXLANExperience with network automation tools and scripting are highly desired.Experience in multi-vendor network topologiesExperience in either the media or web scale sectors.A propensity to experiment with emerging technologies.Experience WithEIGRP, BGP4, OSPF, IP Multicast, HSRP, STP, LACP, Packet capturing tools, TCP/IP, Linux, NAT, and IPv6Arista EOSCisco Nexus (All Series)Required EducationBachelor’s degree (preferably engineering related)Current CCIE or CCNP preferredThe hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $106,900 to $143,300 per year and in New York, NY is $112,000 to $150,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
