Network Engineer

WHAT WILL BE YOUR DAY-TO-DAY? In this role, you will oversee the following missions:Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:· Managing technical projects including involvement from local and global application, infrastructure, governance, and client teams.· Providing level 2/3 operations supporto Monitoring during business hourso Daily morning check reports communicationo Operational process & documentation improvemento Participate on on-call non-business hours· Incident managemento Detection and communication during business hourso Manage Level 2/3 Operations Incidents and Problems· Request managemento Prioritize Daily requests & delivery· Change managemento Change delivery during non-business hours, including week-endo Change configurations peer review with Level 3· You will be working in an Agile environment (Scrum) Profile SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: · You have 5+ years of experience in various industry standard and have experience on Financial Market Accesses· You have good working knowledge of:o Firewall Operations such as Fortinet, Checkpointo Good working knowledge of Internet services and protocolso Web Proxy or similaro Remote and Site to Site VPN technologyo Load balancers like NetScaler and F5o General understanding of the network security standardsBonus skills:· You have good working knowledge of:o Network Security Automation and DevOps experience is a definite pluso Unix system managemento Cisco Switching/Routing technologies (BGP, OSPF, VPC, traffic engineering, etc)o Scripting/Python/Ansible or other automation skillsQualifications:· You have at least 10 years of experience in data network and/or network security operations· The experience in exchange or investment banking environment is desired.· Strong knowledge of ITIL - IT Infrastructure management best practices· Strong operational skill with capacity to prioritize multiple requests or incidents· Adaptability: you are able to adjust to new environments, work effectively in varied situations and function in changing circumstances.· You are willing to participate on on-calls schedule which include overnights and weekends based on team’s needs (approx. once a month).Education:· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, DEC or equivalent technical Certifications LANGUAGE: English, French
