Network Infrastructure IT Project Manager

Location: Sunbury (once a month)Travel: within EU 25% timesContract: Until 30 June 2026 | Start Jan 2026Hours: 40/weekPurpose of the RoleThe manager will ensure a secure, stable, and seamless transition of all IT services, infrastructure, and applications while maintaining business continuity.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and validate migration and transition plans with the buyer and bp’s digital teams.Oversee secure transfer of IT assets and services, including:Cloud-based systemsEnd-user devices (mainly laptops, some desktops)Ensure minimal disruption to ongoing business operations.Collaborate closely with bp service lines and the buyer’s IT organisation to align on hosting strategies and timelines.Support ASTRO and other transition-related computing assessments.Experience & Skills Required10+ years’ experience in IT project or infrastructure managementStrong background in end-to-end IT services: servers, firewalls, networks, end-user computing, and hostingProject management certification (e.g., PMP) preferredHands-on experience with Microsoft tools (ADO, Project)Proven experience in Mergers, Acquisitions, or Divestments is a plusTechnical foundation (former engineer, network, or systems background preferred)Ability to anticipate and resolve potential technical blockers earlyExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsFluent English; German language skills highly advantageous
