Together, we are united in a bold quest to solve the world’s most complex health challenges and serve society.The Opportunity The Network Planning Specialist maintains consistent and accurate planning system parameters to ensure that long-range and operational plans are aligned, and manages process improvements for Integrated Planning.Key functional interfaces to enable supply plans include Network Planners, Product Supply Chain Leaders (PSCLs), and the Plan Business Capability community.What You’ll Do Translate business requirements into long range supply plans within the planning systemIndependently identify and collaborate with PSCLs to understand and validate product supply plan requirements and outcomes. May also deputize Network Planner responsibilities to reflect capacity related planning parameters in the planning systemDrive consistency in operational and long range planning system master data across the Roche Pharma portfolio of products that impact long range plans outcomes. Lead troubleshooting initiatives to ensure planning system solvers consistently deliver optimal capacity utilization and inventory levels. Strategically engage and influence data content owners to resolve master data discrepancies, ensuring plan integrity Lead initiatives to ensure cross functional supply chain teams endorse plan outcomes on a routine basis. Deliver analysis of long range plan trends and insights including plan accuracyAct as a planning system superuser within the Plan Business Capability and/or System Expert communities, driving knowledge transfer and fostering expertise through active mentorship and on-the-job trainingShare in-depth knowledge and best practices within the team and across functional interfaces to elevate overall planning capabilitiesDesign, optimize, and implement robust work processes for both the Network Planning Specialist role and for the Network Planning teamSkills & Mindset: We have high expectations around end-to-end thinking and collaboration in a global network by developing and executing strategy, removing waste, and ensuring strong cross-functional alignment. We expect you to focus on the most impactful and value adding work by prioritizing your efforts with a clear focus on creating value for the patient.Who You AreBS Degree (life sciences, engineering and/or business disciplines preferred)Minimum 3 - 5 years of work experience in supply chainStrong experience in the OMP planning system is strongly preferredIn depth understanding of ERP and supply chain systems (e.g. SAP, APO, OMP) and how planning data connects to production and planning master data landscapes. Experience with biologic and/or synthetic molecule technical operations and manufacturingUnderstands interdependence of planning parameters and end-to-end manufacturing (DS-DP-FG)Ability to collaborate with and influence peers and more senior planning interfacesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English languageSupply Chain Management/ Planning experience; APICS Certification a plus. Relocation funding is available for this role.The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $113,500 - $210,900. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
