Network Security Engineer

Nanosek is looking for a talented Network Engineer to join our growing technical team. Role Description:We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our and customers network infrastructure. You will be part of a network engineering team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architecture.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implementation, support, and improvement of Data Center environments.Configure and install various devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.Provide professional support and troubleshooting to resolve network and security issues.Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team.Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.Requirements and skillsAt least 5 years of proven hands-on network engineering experience with vendors:Cisco:CatalystNexus/VPCFirepower/FTD/FMCMDSJuniperHP/ArubaFortinetPalo AltoF5/BIG IPCCNP RS certification and knowledge level is mandatory CCNP DC certification and knowledge level - Strong AdvantageDeep understanding of networking protocols and technologies:VXLANBGPEIGRPOSPFRSTP/Rapid PVSTMSTFHRPIPSECVPC/VSF/VSX/VCPQOSDeep knowledge of basic network applications and services:DNS/Secure DNSDHCPSSL/HTTPSSMTP/POP/Email servicesFTP/TFTP/SFTPSDWANCloud and virtualization (advantage):Understanding Cloud environment from the networking side.Ability to review cloud network and security configuration:NatGWLBSecurity policies / ACLIAMTransit gWWAFAPI GWApplication load balancerBasic knowledge in (advantage):Storage solutionsVirtualization: VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, Proxmox, etc.Automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, PythonSolid understanding of the OSI TCP/IP modelHands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics toolsWhat We Offer:Competitive salaryFlexible work environment (remote or hybrid options)Opportunities for professional development and certificationsEngaging and dynamic work environment with cutting-edge technologiesWork on high-impact projects with top industry clientsLanguage:English – good knowledge is mandatoryHebrew – basic knowledgeImportant notes:The position includes work on Friday and Saturday and nights from time to time.
