Network Security Engineer (NGFW)

NGFW Network Security Engineer Contract: 15 Months Initially (Highly Likely to be Extended)Locations: Manila and CebuAbout the role:We are looking for an experienced NGFW Engineer with hands-on expertise in Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and Prisma Access solutions. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network security infrastructures for large-scale environments.Key Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and support Palo Alto Networks NGFW and Prisma Access solutions.Lead and manage security initiatives within complex enterprise environments.Diagnose and resolve complex networking and security issues across multi-platform infrastructures.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with security best practices and business goals.Provide technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to peers and clients.Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.Qualifications:Proven experience with Palo Alto Networks NGFW and Prisma Access technologies.Strong background in network security architecture and solution leadership within large environments.Deep understanding of security threats, internet protocols, and applications.Hands-on expertise in installation, configuration, and operation of high-end firewall appliances (preferably Palo Alto Networks products).Solid TCP/IP networking skills and troubleshooting experience.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and local language).Demonstrated project leadership and stakeholder management experience.About Us:Saddleback Solutions offer Consultancy and Professional Services to our Partners and Clients.  We partner Palo Alto Networks, Juniper Networks and Arista worldwide, and we indirectly Partner AWS,  so there are always lots of varying opportunities that come up. We have long standing and close relationships with our consultants and our partners so we can represent you fully.  We offer free training for all our consultants should they wish to expand their knowledge and profiles while with us. We have an education services arm also, so our consultants once qualified can also offer their services running workshops or bootcamps between projects or even full time. We will support you the best way we know how.
