Network Systems Engineer - Campus Networking (f/m/d)As a Network Systems Engineer, you will become a member of the Digital Infra Department and support multiple clients.Key Responsibilities:Maintaining and administering Cisco WiFi Infrastructure in Enterprise level, as well as the Network devices such as Routers, Firewalls, Backbone/Floor SwitchesProactively monitoring and troubleshooting network issues, ensuring high availability and quality of service.Replacing faulty network hardware components when requiredImplementing and maintaining security measures to protect LAN systems from threats and vulnerabilities. Apply security best practices to network devices.Keeping systems up to date by applying patches, updates, and firmware upgrades as needed, while minimizing service disruptions.Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures to facilitate troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.Monitoring system performance and capacity, making recommendations for scaling or optimizing resources to meet business needs.Supporting customers' requests with expected timeline and qualityLiaising with Cisco support and vendors for issue resolution, warranty claims, and product updates.Ensuring that the systems that you are responsible of are complying with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or industry-specific compliance requirements.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable fieldStrong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware/componentsGood Knowledge and Experience in Cisco ISE and WiFi systemsGood Knowledge and Experience in Network devices such as Catalyst switches, Routers, Cisco / Palo Alto FirewallsGood understanding of Routing & Switching protoclos (HSRP, OSPF, Spanning Tree etc.) and Radius, Tacacs, eap-peap, eap-tls configurationsExperience in monitoring solutions such as Nagios, SolarwindsUnderstanding of ITIL processesStrong problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systemsFluent in English (spoken & written)Nice to Have:CCNP certification in Cisco Wireless or Routing/Switching areaITIL Foundation certificationOffer & Benefits:Flexible working time and a hybrid working model.Work in an international team and versatile environmentVaried tasks with exciting and challenging IT projectsFunction-specific, personal, and technology trainingAttractive salary and excellent compensation and benefits package, including free lunch (as lunch vouchers or in the canteen), a free monthly ticket for public transportation and Gympass to support your wellbeing.Relocation supportAbout usHyundai AutoEver Europe GmbH (HAEE) is a fully-owned subsidiary of the Hyundai & KIA Motor Group with its Headquarters in Seoul (South Korea).
