About this role:RolesAct as the primary point of contact for obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from local authorities and stakeholders.Ensure all landscaping projects comply with regulatory and legal requirements by managing the NOC process effectively.Support project teams by facilitating timely approvals to prevent delays and ensure smooth project execution.NOC ManagementPrepare and submit NOC applications to relevant authorities, ensuring all required documents are accurate and complete.Track and follow up on submitted applications to expedite the approval process.Maintain up-to-date records of all NOCs, approvals, and correspondence.Compliance and RegulationsEnsure landscaping projects adhere to local laws, environmental guidelines, and zoning regulations.Review project designs and plans to verify compliance with authority requirements before submission.Stay informed about changes in regulatory frameworks and update processes accordingly.Coordination and CommunicationLiaise with municipal authorities, utility providers, and other stakeholders to facilitate the NOC process.Act as the communication bridge between project teams, contractors, and authorities to resolve queries or issues.Coordinate with internal departments to gather and verify required documentation.Documentation and ReportingMaintain a comprehensive database of NOCs, permits, and associated documentation.Provide regular status updates to project managers and stakeholders on the progress of approvals.Generate reports on NOC timelines, costs, and compliance status for management review.Problem-Solving and Issue ResolutionAddress delays, discrepancies, or rejections in the NOC process by investigating causes and implementing corrective actions.Work with stakeholders to resolve conflicts or objections raised during the approval process.Process ImprovementIdentify inefficiencies in the NOC process and recommend improvements to streamline approvals.Develop standardized procedures and templates for NOC applications to ensure consistency and accuracy.Stakeholder EngagementFoster positive relationships with local authorities and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth approvals.Attend meetings or site visits with authorities to address concerns or clarify project details.DutiesPrepare and validate all necessary documents for NOC applications, including site plans, drawings, and compliance certifications.Coordinate with the design and project teams to ensure plans meet regulatory standards before submission.Monitor the status of approvals and escalate delays or issues to management for resolution.Assist in securing permits for specific landscaping activities, such as tree planting, excavation, or irrigation.Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper handling of sensitive project information.Support audits by providing accurate records and documentation related to NOC activities.Occupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities: In addition to all job specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Khidmah health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations. Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentialityQualifications:With Landscaping Industry ExperienceATS experienceImmediate JoinersDiploma or Bachelor’s Degree in one of Civil Engineering2–4 years of experience in landscaping, construction, or a related field, with direct involvement in coordinating with regulatory authorities.Proven experience in handling documentation and obtaining approvals for projects.Understanding of local laws, zoning regulations, and environmental guidelines related to landscaping projects.Knowledge of NOC processes, including documentation, submission, and compliance requirements.Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and submitting NOC applications.Strong organizational skills for maintaining detailed records of approvals and correspondence.Ability to coordinate with project teams, contractors, and authorities to facilitate smooth approval processes.Skilled in tracking application progress and ensuring adherence to timelines.Proficiency in reading and interpreting site plans, blueprints, and landscaping designs.Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software for validating technical documents(Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.Familiarity with project tracking and management software.Awareness of eco-friendly landscaping practices and sustainability guidelines.Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with authorities, contractors, and project teams.Ability to draft clear and professional correspondence.Skilled in building and maintaining positive relationships with regulatory bodies and stakeholders.Effective in negotiating and resolving issues related to NOC approvals.Meticulous in reviewing documentation and identifying errors or inconsistencies.Strong focus on accuracy to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple NOC applications simultaneously.Ability to meet tight deadlines and ensure timely project approvals.Ability to analyze and resolve delays or objections during the approval process.Creative thinking to identify cost-effective and efficient solutions.Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple NOC applications simultaneously.Ability to meet tight deadlines and ensure timely project approvals.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and project managers.Flexibility to handle unexpected challenges and changing regulatory requirements.Ensuring all landscaping projects adhere to legal and environmental standards.Identifying opportunities to streamline the NOC process for faster approvals.Dedicated to meeting stakeholder needs and providing timely updates on approval statuses.
