Situated on the Whanganui Hospital campus, right alongside the Emergency Department (ED), WAM plays a vital role in creating a ‘one-stop shop’ for urgent medical needs.We provide urgent and primary care services from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week, including public holidays, in a well-supported, collaborative environment.The RoleAs a Nurse Practitioner with WAM, you’ll be an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, working to provide high-quality, timely, and culturally responsive care to patients across a wide range of presentations. You’ll work autonomously within your scope, while collaborating closely with doctors, nurses, and other allied health professionals.
