Applications close: November 17thNurse PractitionerAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly and compassionate team at Whanganui Accident and Medical (WAM) – a leading urgent and primary care provider committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to our local community.About UsWAM is a subsidiary of the Whanganui Regional Health Network (WRHN), established in 2003 to enhance community access to urgent and after-hours healthcare. Situated on the Whanganui Hospital campus, right alongside the Emergency Department (ED), WAM plays a vital role in creating a ‘one-stop shop’ for urgent medical needs.We provide urgent and primary care services from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week, including public holidays, in a well-supported, collaborative environment.The RoleAs a Nurse Practitioner with WAM, you’ll be an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, working to provide high-quality, timely, and culturally responsive care to patients across a wide range of presentations. You’ll work autonomously within your scope, while collaborating closely with doctors, nurses, and other allied health professionals.
