Job Description

About the RoleWe are looking for a diligent and quick-learning Camera & Lighting Assistant who can support our cinematography and production teams across live shoots. You will be involved in everything from lighting setup and camera rig prep to on-site cable management and gear movement. This is a foundation-level technical role with immense growth potential in video production. You'll work directly with cinematographers and production leads, becoming the trusted hands that help every shot come to life. Key ResponsibilitiesLighting Setup & Management: Assist in setting up lighting equipment, including stands, softboxes, reflectors, and modifiersCamera Prep Support:

Help assemble rigs, attach accessories, prep lenses, and power camera unitsPower & Cable Management: Handle power routing, extension boxes, and ensure all gear is safely cabled and managed on-setOn-Shoot Assistance: Respond quickly to cinematographer instructions—light tweaks, repositioning stands, switching batteries, etc. Gear Transport & Safety: Safely carry, move, and pack camera and lighting gear before and after shootsEquipment Maintenance: Support cleaning, checking, and minor maintenance of lights, tripods, cameras, and support gearFootage Support (if required):

Assist in transferring memory cards and drives post-shoot with clear labelingQualifications & Requirements0–2 years of experience assisting in film or video production (internship/freelance accepted)Basic understanding of lighting behavior (soft vs. hard light, color temp, diffusion)Familiarity with video equipment: tripods, LED panels, DSLRs, or cinema camerasPhysically fit and able to lift or move heavy gear during setupsCalm, patient, and efficient under pressureA team-first attitude with good listening and communication skillsBonus:
