We’re looking for an Observability Lead to join our Platform Consulting team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our consulting and product teams to help clients architect and integrate observability and monitoring solutions into their infrastructure and interop platforms. Your expertise will play a key role in defining our observability strategy, improving operational excellence, and shaping the observability roadmap for both interop.io and our clients.If you’re passionate about reliability, scalability, and helping enterprises gain deeper insights into their systems, this role is for you!In this role you will:Engage with our clients to architect and integrate observability and monitoring solutions for their interop platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and fostering strong collaborative relationships.Develop a deep understanding of client requirements for supportability and observability through direct discovery with client stakeholders and analysis of client architecture.Design and implementation of monitoring and observability solutions, collaborating with Platform Consultants and engineering teams to define standards and best practices.Drive automation strategies for monitoring, alerting, and logging pipelines, focusing on process improvements and operational efficiency.Work with Product Management to help develop and maintain comprehensive observability roadmaps for interop products and solutions.Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and Pre-sales teams to provide technical expertise and support during solution design and customer engagements.Mentor and develop other engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of reliability, observability, and operational excellence.Your profile:5+ years of experience in SRE, Observability, or DevOps roles, with leadership responsibilities.Proven expertise with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, Dynatrace or New Relic.Hands-on experience with Open Telemetry (OTel) for distributed tracing and observability instrumentation.Experience with log aggregation and analysis platforms like Splunk.Familiarity with visualisation tools/dashboards for these solutions – such as Grafana, Power BI, OpenSearch Dashboards, D3.js, QlikView, Tableau.Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.A proactive, client-focused mindset and passion for improving reliability and performance at scale.We offer:Market-leading salaryThe freedom to work from home or the officePerformance bonuses25 days off with up to 8 extra bonus days paid annual holidayPremium healthcare and dental package.Co-funded Multisport cardFood vouchersAccess to an employee Well-being programLong-term employee value distribution scheme (LEVD)Modern office space at Campus X, recreation zones, and a spacious rooftop terraceGenerous refer-a-friend programExperienced, skilled and friendly teammates
