We're the global leader in providing energy solutions that help businesses grow and communities thrive.We work as a team and we’re proud of the difference we make to customers, to local communities, and towards a sustainable future for the world. We are hiring immediately Oil Free Air Technical Specialist - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.Why Join Aggreko?Full time position based in Jebel Ali, DubaiCompetitive compensation packageIndustry-leading benefit plans including medical insuranceContinuous training and development with career growth opportunitiesSafety-focused cultureRole overview: The Oil Free Air Technical Specialist ensures the successful introduction and integration of new products into the Middle East business by delivering highly specialised technical support.What You’ll DoTroubleshoot and repair OFA compressed air systems and related machinery.Install OFA compressed air systems and related machinery.Specific tasks may include but are not limited to: oil & filter changes, mechanical repair, electrical and electronic repair, plumbing, welding, painting, fabrication and other tasks assigned by the service manager.Subject Matter Expertise and Knowledge Transfer: Build personal knowledge of Aggreko's new products and aspire to become a subject matter expert. Guide and influence local technical teams, transferring knowledge and building capabilities. Support the Learning team with design and delivery of training solutions.Technical Support and Customer Excellence: Elevate the business’s customer experience by delivering expert assistance in addressing technical inquiries, contributing to the development of documented guidance, troubleshooting, and resolving issues, as well as optimising performance during the new product introduction and infancy care period. Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and documentation of solutions, with a specific emphasis on performing failure analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for new and existing products.Collaboration and Project Implementation: Liaise with Aggreko sales, technicians, and management to provide technical solutions, and lead project implementation in early mobilisations or first-of-a-kind projects, with emphasis on design, commissioning, and knowledge transfer.Promote Green Solutions: Lead site and project delivery of hybridized and low emission solutions, setting an example for greener upgrades and ensuring success for customers.Technical Drawings: Interpret, modify, and create layout, arrangement, and technical drawings using CAD and sketch tools. Analyse technical drawings to establish parameters for safe and efficient solutions.Health, Safety and Continuous Improvement: Specialise in understanding the risks associated with new power products. Ensure compliance with Aggreko HSE policies and procedures. Provide feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and integration processes.You’ll Have The Following Skills And ExperienceUniversity degree or above, science and engineering background (prefer one of below: Electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and/or power, Measurement and control technology and instruments)Minimum 5-7 years product technical hands-on experience in mechanical engineering.Flexibility to travel internationally as required by the roleProven experience on compressed air, rotating and air drier equipmentShould have very good analytical skillsUnderstanding of AC and DC power, 3 phase system, componentsShould possess a good knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systemsRobust technical proficiency with an exceptional mastery, specifically concentrated on emerging products. Familiarity with emerging trends in the industryStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
