On campus project Coordinator - Student

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated student volunteers to join our team as Social Project Coordinator on our project Book-Education at their universities. This position will allow you to serve as a bridge between Betfrika and your university to establish sustainable partnerships. Through your commitment, thousands of students in Germany and children in West Africa will have access to books they would never have been able to obtain otherwise. You will be involved in setting up collection boxes on campus and promoting our mission to the university community.This is a volunteer position, but with many learning and networking opportunities.About us:Betfrika is a nonprofit organisation operating in Europe and West Africa. We are committed to improving the quality and access to education through the promotion of reading. For many Africans, reading is a luxury, due to lack of interest in reading, scarcity of books and low financial means. Our Book-Education project therefore aims to collect books in Europe to redistribute them to children, pupils, and students in Africa, while helping them develop an educational culture focused on reading and self-learning. In Germany, we also distribute free books to students in financial hardship.Your Responsibilities :Establish and maintain contact with university administration and professors Facilitate the installation of temporary collection boxes on campus Recruit other student volunteers to support activities on campus Promote the initiative on social media and with student organisations Manage the collection of books donated by students and university staff Act as a liaison between Betfrika and the various university department Identify collaboration opportunities with student associations Participate in the distribution of free books to students in financial hardship Collect contact information from interested individuals (WhatsApp contacts or email) Share feedback to improve future actionsQualifications :Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills Dynamism and ease in contact with the public and university authorities Ability to work independently and in a team Reliability, punctuality, and sense of responsibility Passion for education and international solidarity Currently enrolled student at a German university Ability to build relationships with management or professors to facilitate the initiativeWhat we do offer :An enriching and meaningful experience in the field of education and international solidarity The opportunity to contribute to a project with strong social impact by helping thousands of children and students access books Professional development and networking opportunities with our team and partnersRemote and Flexibility in working hours (missions adapted to your schedule) Each volunteer will benefit from personalized support, with regular follow-up to help them succeed in their missions Training in university partnership techniques, awareness-raising and project management is provided to ensure your success in this mission A volunteer certificate that can be highlighted on your CV A friendly and warm atmosphere within a committed team Possibility to travel abroad for missionsTime commitment :Part-time: approximately 5–7 hours per week (online meetings, administrative procedures, coordination) Flexible commitment adapted to your university schedule Ideal duration: one semester or one academic year to ensure project continuityWe are looking for motivated people right now to make a real difference!For more information about the position or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@betfrika.org .
