On-site Support Technician (Casual) - SA

We are growing and are looking for Onsite Support Technician in NSW, ACT and SA who can represent the Fortify brand with professionalism, clarity and technical confidence.About the roleThis role is responsible for providing ad-hoc hands on support at client locations. You will resolve end user issues, assist with device setup and maintenance, manage onsite escalations, and act as the face of Fortify for our clients. You will work closely with our remote service desk and engineering teams to ensure a smooth and consistent support experience.Key responsibilitiesProvide onsite technical support for end users across Windows, Microsoft 365, network connectivity, printing and standard business applicationsTroubleshoot and resolve hardware issues, user access problems, and device performance mattersPerform new device deployments, rebuilds, imaging, updates and physical maintenanceAssist with Microsoft 365 administration including user setup, licensing checks, password resets and common issuesWork with the remote Fortify team to escalate problems when requiredComplete accurate and timely documentation in the service management systemMaintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders and communicate clearly about progress and outcomesIdentify recurring issues and recommend improvements to reduce repeat incidentsRequired skills and experiencePrevious experience in an onsite support or field technician roleStrong working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft 365 and common business applicationsExperience supporting laptops, desktops, printers and basic network troubleshootingAbility to communicate technical concepts in a simple and calm mannerA proactive approach to customer service and problem solvingCurrent drivers licence and the ability to travel to client sitesAustralian work rightsNice to haveExperience with Intune, Entra ID, RMM tools or MSP environmentsUnderstanding of cybersecurity basics and secure device configurationsWhat you can expectA supportive, no nonsense team that values clear communication and strong deliveryExposure to a wide range of environments and technologiesOpportunities to grow your skills as Fortify continues to scaleA role where you make a visible difference for clients every day
