With over 15 years of experience in humanitarian, development, and peacekeeping support services across Africa, RRS is dedicated to delivering diverse and reliable services in challenging environments.Operations Senior AnalystPrimary Objective:The main responsibility of the Operations Senior Analyst is to lead advanced data analysis, performance evaluation, and process optimization initiatives that drive efficiency, accuracy, and profitability within the Company's supply chain, logistics, procurement, and customs operations. The role focuses on transforming data into strategic insights, improving workflows, and supporting management in making informed operational decisions.Key Responsibilities:1. Advanced Data Analysis & Reporting:-       Lead the collection, validation, and analysis of operational data in order to identify performance trends and areas for improvement.-       Design and develop advanced analytical models and dashboards to measure KPIs related to cost efficiency, delivery accuracy, and lead time performance.-       Translate complex data into actionable insights for senior management and operational teams.2. Strategic Process Improvement:-       Assess and redesign the workflows in logistics, procurement, freight forwarder, and customs for greater efficiency and cost reduction.-       Lead root-cause analyses on operational bottlenecks and recommend sustainable corrective actions.-       Partner with Operations and Finance on continuous improvement initiatives.3. Forecasting and Performance Management:-       Develop forecasting models for volume, capacity, and cost trends.-       Drive operational planning and resource allocation by providing informed recommendations.-       Monitor business performance against operational goals and KPIs.4. Compliance, Risk & Quality Monitoring:-       Oversee the tracking of compliance with customs, procurement, and trade regulations.-       Identify potential risks or operational deviations and suggest mitigation strategies.-       Ensure consistency in data accuracy and documentation integrity for audits and compliance reviews.5. Systems & Business Intelligence Integration:-       Perform deep information extraction and data analysis by utilizing ERP, CRM, and logistics management systems.-       Lead efforts to automate reporting and analytics using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.-       Support the digital transformation of operations by integrating analytical tools and data visualization dashboards.6. Cross-functional Collaboration:-       Work closely with Finance, Procurement, and Business Development teams to align operational efficiency with financial and strategic objectives.-       Provide analytical support during vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and client projects.-       Present findings and recommendations for improvement to senior management.7. Mentorship & Team Support:-       Guide and mentor Operations Analysts and Assistants in data management, analysis, and reporting standards.-       Share best practices and analytical methodologies within the operations team.-       Help build a data-driven culture within the organization.Skills & Competencies:·      Analytical Competency: Robust quantitative, statistical, and problem-solving skills.·      Operational Insight: In-depth knowledge of how logistics, procurement, and customs operations work.·      Technical Expertise: Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems, and BI toolsets such as Power BI and Tableau.·      Communication: Can transform complex data into clear reports and presentations.·      Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data interpretation and report preparation.·      Project Management: Proficient in planning, prioritization, and leading of improvement initiatives.·      Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Personal Capacities:·      Strong leadership and initiative in driving process improvement.·      Ability to work independently and manage multiple analytical projects.·      Adaptability to changed business needs and operational challenges.·      Commitment to accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of outputs.Qualifications:·      Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.·      3–5 years of experience in operations analysis, logistics, or supply chain management.·      Proficient in Excel, ERP, and BI/reporting tools·      Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Lean and Six Sigma.·      Familiarity with customs, procurement, and international trade documentation preferred.
