Cox is a global utility company in water and energy, vertically integrated, that applies innovative technological solutions for sustainable development.Cox O&M is seeking supervisors for Operations teams at the Jafurah Desalination Plant.These roles are key to leading specialized maintenance teams, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality plant operations, and supporting the execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the daily activities of the operations team, ensuring safe and efficient operation of desalination processes.Monitor and control plant systems using DCS (Distributed Control System); respond to alarms, process deviations, and emergencies.Ensure proper execution of startup, shutdown, flushing, and cleaning procedures.Oversee chemical dosing operations and ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of chemicals used in the process.Manage shift handovers, logbooks, and operational reporting to ensure continuity and traceability.Support and coordinate with the maintenance team during troubleshooting, equipment isolation, and planned interventions.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and water quality standards.Train and mentor operators, ensuring adherence to SOPs and promoting continuous improvement.Participate in operational audits, root cause analysis, and process optimization initiatives.Collaborate with plant management and other departments to meet production targets and operational goals.RequirementsTechnical degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial disciplines.Fluent English is mandatory; Arabic is a plus.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in plant operations, preferably in desalination or water treatment.Strong knowledge of desalination technologies (e.g., reverse osmosis, remineralization, pre-treatment).Hands-on experience with DCS systems and control room operations.Familiarity with chemical handling, dosing systems, and safety protocols.Experience in shift management, operational reporting, and emergency response.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work in multicultural and high-pressure environments.✨ Join us and lead a specialized team that keeps one of the region’s most critical desalination plants running efficiently, safely, and reliably
