About The TeamThe Operational Excellence Lead drives cross-functional initiatives that improve speed, scale, and service quality across Shopee’s warehouse and fulfillment operations. The role blends strategic thinking, data analysis, and project execution to solve complex operational challenges. This individual collaborates closely with internal teams and external partners, using insights to shape process improvements, implement solutions, and support sustainable growth across the network.Job DescriptionStrategic Analysis & Decision SupportUnderstand the E2E fulfillment process and experience, and how the relevant support teams work together to support fulfillment operations Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to diagnose problems, assess opportunities, and support decision-making.Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.Collaborate with stakeholders to define performance metrics and propose reports to better monitor project progress and operational efficiency.Data analysis and number crunching are required in the role Operational Improvements & Fulfillment ExcellenceIdentify process inefficiencies and lead standardization of best practices across fulfillment sites.Use data to analyze warehouse performance, identify trends, and drive initiatives that enhance productivity and cost-efficiency.Define and track KPIs to measure success and ensure alignment with business goals.Create metrics to ensure improvements and project rollouts are being tracked Project & Product ImplementationUnderstand how the system interplays with on-the-ground operations for better recommendationsLead end-to-end project implementation—from problem identification, stakeholder alignment, and approvals, to handover and performance tracking.Coordinate with multifunctional teams (e.g., Product, Tech, Logistics) and third-party logistics partners to ensure timely and effective execution.Conduct research and validate data integrity using random sampling, qualitative review, and comparative checks.RequirementsBachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a strong plusMinimum of 7 years of relevant experience in analytical, strategic, or data-driven roles; exposure to operations is an advantageProven ability in problem-solving and decision-making, with experience in root cause analysisProficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets (intermediate level or above)Comfortable with Microsoft Word and/or Google Docs for documentation and reportingStrong presentation skills, with demonstrated ability in creating impactful decks and telling compelling business stories
