Waikato Milking Systems global headquarters and engineering divisions are in Hamilton, NZ with offices and Warehouses in Australia, USA, UK, Ireland, and China, with agents and customers in every dairying nation in the world.Job DescriptionReporting to the Head of Manufacturing, you will play a key role in supporting our manufacturing operations. You’ll manage production orders, liaise with suppliers, support planning and scheduling, and ensure smooth communication across departments. Your work will directly contribute to meeting customer demand and maintaining high standards of product quality and supply.Key Responsibilities:Manage production orders from creation to completionPurchase materials and forecast key componentsRespond to customer service queries and provide product ETAsMaintain workload overview and prioritize manufacturing demandApprove invoices and resolve supply issuesSupport planning and scheduling processesMaintain and create Bills of Materials and route timingsBuild strong relationships with suppliers and internal teamsQualificationsStrong MS Office skills (Excel expertise essential)Experience in manufacturing and production planningUnderstanding of supply chain principlesExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsHigh attention to detail and problem-solving abilityA sense of humour and a team-first attitudeAdditional InformationWhy Join Us?We’re a supportive and forward-thinking team that values initiative, integrity, and collaboration.
